Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Bring Your Own Idea (“we”, “us”), which operates Bring Your Own Idea at bringyourownidea.com and app.bringyourownidea.com (the “service”).

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you can bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You describe an idea. An analyst agent tests it, a team of AI agents is designed for it, and the agents then work in cycles: researching, planning, writing, building and, if you allow it, acting outside the platform. Every cycle produces a report you can read.

The agents are powered by Claude models from Anthropic, called with your own Anthropic API key. Output from AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. You should review anything important before relying on it.

You sign in with Google. You must give accurate information, keep your account secure and tell us promptly if you think it has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old. The service is not for children.

Agents run on your own Anthropic API key. Anthropic bills you directly for what the agents use, under your agreement with Anthropic, with no markup from us. You are responsible for those charges.

We encrypt your key before storing it, and only the system that runs your agents decrypts it. You can replace or remove it at any time and revoke it in your Anthropic console. Monthly caps you set are a safeguard, not a guarantee: usage reported after the fact, delays or errors may mean spend slightly exceeds a cap, and we are not liable for charges from Anthropic.

You choose how much freedom each company has. In internal mode, agents only research, plan, write and build inside the platform. At higher autonomy levels they may take outside actions, such as sending email from your company domain, opening pull requests or spending within a budget. Actions above your chosen risk level wait in an approval queue until you approve them.

Agents act for you. You are responsible for everything your companies and their agents do, whether you approved it individually or allowed it by setting an autonomy level, including compliance with laws and platform rules that apply to the activity: email and marketing laws (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR/PECR and India’s rules on commercial communications), advertising and consumer-protection rules, intellectual property, data protection, and the terms of any third-party service you connect.

We keep an audit log of actions and approvals. You should monitor your companies, and you can pause any company at any time.

You can optionally connect services such as GitHub or Cloudflare to a company. Credentials for them are stored encrypted and used only to carry out actions you have allowed. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and you can disconnect them at any time. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Plans and limits as shown on our site at the time you subscribe:

• Free: 1 company, 1 cycle a day, up to 3 agent-run departments, no Social Studio.
• Builder, $29 (₹2,999) a month: 1 company, up to 4 cycles a day, with the Social Studio.
• Empire, $99 (₹9,999) a month: up to 3 companies, up to 8 cycles a day each, with the Social Studio.

If you subscribed before 23 October 2026, you keep the companies your plan included then for as long as that subscription runs; the new limits apply to adding more.

Paid plans renew monthly and are billed through Razorpay, which handles your payment details. We do not see or store your card or bank details. Prices may exclude taxes that apply to you. You can cancel at any time from the plan page; the plan then ends at the close of the paid month. We do not refund partial months unless the law requires it.

If you go over your plan’s company limit (for example after a downgrade), companies over the limit cannot run until you are within it or upgrade. We may change plans and prices on reasonable notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

You must not use the service, or let your agents be used, to:

• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or contact people in breach of the law;
• create, store or distribute illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, hateful or infringing content;
• impersonate a person or organisation, or mislead people about who is behind a message;
• abuse third-party services, evade their limits or breach their terms;
• attack, probe or overload the service, or try to access other users’ data;
• build things designed to harm people, or for activities that are unlawful where you or your audience are;
• create any content that breaks the content rules below.

We may pause or restrict a company or account that breaches these rules or puts others or the service at risk.

The AI tools in the service, including the Social Studio’s image and video generation, are for business and marketing content only. You must not use them, or let your agents use them, to create:

• sexual, nude or intimate imagery of a real person, including “undress” edits, deepfakes and face swaps;
• any imagery of a real person made or shared without their consent;
• any sexual content involving minors, real or fictional.

These requests are blocked: the image and video tools refuse prompts asking for sexual or intimate imagery before anything is generated, and our media providers apply their own safety filters on top. We close accounts that create or try to create such content, and report it where the law requires.

You own your ideas, inputs and the outputs your agents produce (plans, reports, code, documents). We do not claim ownership of them. Because AI output may resemble other output, we make no promise that it is unique or free of third-party rights.

You give us a limited licence to host, process, copy and display your content only as needed to operate, secure and support the service for you. We own the service, its software and branding.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We aim for it to be reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not warrant that agent output is accurate, suitable for your purpose, or will produce any business result. This does not remove rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or goodwill, or for actions taken by agents under settings you chose. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your companies’ activity or your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.

You can stop using the service and delete your companies or account at any time. A deleted company is soft-deleted: it stops running, no longer counts towards your plan, and can be restored by an administrator for 30 days. After that window its data is permanently deleted. You can ask us for an export of your data before deletion.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if you do not pay. We will give notice where practical. Sections that by nature should survive termination (ownership, liability, disputes) continue to apply.

The service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use it, and will close accounts we learn belong to someone younger.

We may update these terms. We will change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
